Description

In Weilandshof, the stately villa along the Turnhoutsebaan between Turnhout and Antwerp, parties have been organised for 70 years. And thanks to Johan 'Wannes' Van de Peer, that tradition will continue for a long time to come.

Johan 'Wannes' Van de Peer

Johan 'Wannes' Van de Peer from Oelegem was still young when he and his parents spoiled the visitors of the beautiful provincial green domain Vrieselhof in the Remise. He learned the tricks of the trade of cooking at renowned schools such as the PIVA in Antwerp and the Hotelschool Ter Duinen in Koksijde. Afterwards he followed a course along several top restaurants including the institute Vateli on the Kipdorpvest of the late Pierre Commissaris, Loncin and Philippe Bohrer in France. Wannes also learned a lot in De Watermolen in Kasterlee. There he worked in the service of Carl Wens, who would later be awarded a Michelin star with De Pastorie in Lichtaart.

Weilandshof

Weilandshof is easily accessible and ideally located between Turnhout and Antwerp. You can park your car in the large private parking lot. The party location has two spacious rooms. Up to 110 people can dine together in the large one. The smaller one can accommodate another 50 guests. Inside, the atmosphere is somewhere between class and coziness. Garden parties can also be organized in the beautiful and peaceful garden.

Private parties

Communion, marriage, wedding anniversary, ... all reasons are good to organize a party. Whether it is for a large group with all the trimmings or for a smaller group, Wannes and team always spoil their guests with the greatest care. They listen to your personal wishes to work out a customized formula. Whether it is for the birth, loss of a loved one, for your coffee table, Weilandshof has composed its own W&S coffee and has various coffee table formulas.

Business

The Weilandshof is also a suitable location for doing business and for all types of business events that go with it: company parties, seminars, workshops, presentations, networking, product presentations, after-work drinks, etc. The 2 rooms can be set up entirely according to the business insight of the organiser.

Own events

Uninvited is normally not possible, Weilandshof is not a restaurant, but Wannes organizes brunches at regular times that have become very popular in a short time thanks to an attractive price for a very extensive offer. On the agenda are also other events such as mussel festivals and the well-known game festivals.

Catering

Wannes and his team can also take care of your parties from A to Z at your home, office or at a location of your choice. Even a breakfast, sandwich lunch, buffet or BBQ can be delivered to your location perfectly corona-proof.
